Following up of all (A-Z) managerial works of the business with the higher management.
Submitting of weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly Activity Reports extracted from ERP to the higher managements.
Negotiate prices, payment terms and products with existing and new Business Partners
Operational control on expenses, stock, debtors, creditors, exceptional customer transactions.
Effectively manage Marketing and Trade Marketing budgets.
Conduct appraisals for direct reports and monitor appraisals of all staff in the division, establishing training needs and plans to address these needs.
Ensure clear Job Descriptions exist for all employees within the division, that Objectives are set and reviewed and periodic reviews of manpower capabilities and competencies are completed (in conjunction with HR)
Motivate and energize the team towards achievement of monthly objectives
Maintain clear communication with Business Partners. Work closely with the Finance and Logistics departments to ensure smooth coordination
Apply the required technical and professional expertise to the highest standards; promote and shares best practice within and outside Afghanistan.
Take effective, considered and timely decisions by gathering and evaluating relevant information
Work collaboratively to achieve shared goals and thrive on diversity of people and perspectives; know when to lead and when to follow and how to ensure effective cross-partner working

Skills & Knowledge
Qualified and registered clinical pharmacist having worked within a secondary care environment, preferably with emergency response or humanitarian experience
Capacity building and supervising clinical and logistical staff
Awareness of the Essential Medicines (Formulary) and National Drug Policies
Policy development and preparing technical documents
Strong organizational and leadership skills, complemented by sound management abilities
Excellent interpersonal skills with track record in building successful relationships with a broad range of stakeholders and partners
Excellent understanding of the humanitarian sector and medical response
Ability to plan and organize multiple tasks and multiple personnel, whilst still maintaining attention to detail, to produce results under pressure within short deadlines
Excellent skills in writing, editing, formatting, research, negotiation and verbal communication
Excellent team working skills
A positive and flexible problem solving approach
Excellent Microsoft Word, Excel and Power point skills
Minimum of five years’ experience as a pharmacist or two years proven experience as a managing director experience
Experience in managing teams of staff
Experience of working in collaboration with partners.
Medical procurement, managing medical supplies and pharmaceutical supply chain management
Developing and providing training and supervision to others
Preferably: Pharmacy Degree
